eSIM and easy activation
iPhones from model 14: only in eSIM
Since the iPhone 14, Apple has chosen to completely remove the nano SIM card in some markets, including for the models we offer.
Thus, all iPhone 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro, 14 Pro Max, 15, 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, 16, 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max , etc. work exclusively with an eSIM .
This does not change anything in your daily use: the network, calls, SMS, mobile internet… everything works the same way as with a physical card.
The only difference: everything becomes dematerialized , more convenient and faster.
What is an eSIM?
An eSIM is a digital SIM card directly integrated into the iPhone.
It offers several advantages:
-
Immediate activation without waiting for a physical card
-
More secure (impossible to remove in case of theft)
-
Option to add multiple lines (professional and personal)
-
Improved water and dust resistance thanks to the removal of the SIM tray
How to easily switch to eSIM?
Good news: the conversion is very simple and is done directly through your operator.
Here are the most common steps:
1. Log in to your operator customer area
Bouygues, Orange, SFR, Free, Red, Sosh… all allow eSIM activation online.
You will find a section like this:
"Activate an eSIM" / "Replace my SIM" / "Get an eSIM QR Code"
2. Scan the provided QR code
Once the request is made, your operator generates an eSIM QR code .
On your iPhone:
-
Go to Settings
-
Select Cellular Data
-
Tap Add an eSIM plan
-
Scan the QR code
3. Immediate activation
Your line is activated in seconds. The network appears automatically.
There is no need to restart your iPhone.
What if you had a regular SIM card before?
In most cases, your operator offers an automatic transfer function to eSIM .
This means you don't even need to order anything:
You activate the eSIM from your customer area, and that's it.
